1969Mr. Antonio Mancuso starts working as a research chemist in the field of foundry resins; the same year as Cold Box resins were conceptualized
1978Spends 4 years working in the South American Foundry market; Niagara Falls resin manufacturing site completed
1982Spends 3 years working in Italy
1985Negotiation for the purchase of the Niagara Falls resin plant begin
1986Mancuso Chemicals Limited formed and operating in February
1987First exports to Asian Steel Mills commence
1988Exports to the Brasilian foundry market start
1989Exports to Chile, Peru and the US market grow
1990First plant expansion begins; 5 different sulphonic acids being manufactured
1991ManBrite PSA for the tinplating market being exported to 3 continents
1992Major automotive cold box customers commence buying the Rapidcure CB 10 system; Furan NB Resins being sold in 6 countries
1993Resin capacity doubled; awarded an Ontario Innovator – OIPS – award
1994The technologically advanced Rapidur 7 series is launched; low odor and free formaldehyde system
1995Approval for Alkyd Resin manufacturing granted - project starts; New MDI blending station inaugurated
1996MancuSat patent granted; Rapibond adhesive introduced to the market
1997First sales to Asian foundries commence; ISO 9002 certification obtained
1998Alkyd and polyester production start; Resyd short oil and Manrez coil coating resins; new container loading facility inaugurated
1999New phenolic modified furan resins are launched; including the ultra fast curing FS series; C4 and C9 catalyst products created
2000Warehouse # 2 constructed; web site up and running
2001Product is now stored at warehouses in 7 countries; business is being done on all continents except Africa – The Americas, Australasia and South East Asia become the major sales areas
2002ISO 9001:2000 certification achieved; company awarded the Dana (a Fortune 500 company) Gold Star Award for quality and supplier performance
2003Major investments in IT and facility upgrades are made
2004Patents for new Cold Box products are granted; markets expand into Northern Asia
2005OUR 20th year – we look forward to continuing to be a partner in your facility’s needs
2006New Warehousing facility in Niagara Falls opens – tripling overall company footage
2008Development of the new Rapidur Deminimis Binder system
2010Plant and R&D expansion - new boiler, increased alkyd production, R&D Heavy investment leading to new products and technology ISO recertified
2012New Tank farm inaugurated; new mixing vessels installed
2013Release of Rapidur Basic and Aludur PUNB resins
2014Launch of Rapidur Ultra PUNB resin
2015Ground break for reactor room expansion, upgrades to acid tanks and reactors. Purchase of Interatlas Automotive Fluids business
